This project is about looking at how sustainability related to wooden spheres, northern lights, and music can be included in popular education and shine an international light on the sustainability issue. The feasibility study includes inviting companies and partners to workshops to develop materials and financial calculations for creating a portable exhibition for, e.g., display in schools. The idea in the long run with a portable exhibition is to spark curiosity and inspiration so that people will want to educate themselves and through knowledge be able to take greater responsibility for Mother Earth.

LAG board's justification

The idea is to explore how sustainability issues can be made accessible and spark conversations among young and old in an innovative and sustainable way using culture as a tool. The applicant wants to create new connections between the business sector and popular education organizations to promote conversation and reflection. This Start Assistance has great potential to eventually lead to lasting activities in the form of a mobile exhibition, as well as continued collaboration on the critical issue of how we best take care of our planet.
