There are many actors who can be a support in connection with projects and other initiatives. Here we list some of them.

Is there an opportunity for "Crowdfunding"?
Crowdfunding is a method for financing projects or ideas by turning to a large number of financiers. These invest small amounts of money individually to collectively create a larger sum. This mainly occurs via internet-based systems, but can also happen directly between stakeholders, e.g., neighbors, within the local community, and so on.
Examples are www.kickstarter.com, www.indiegogo.com or www.gofundme.com
The Inheritance Fund
Non-profit and non-commercial organizations can apply for money from The Inheritance Fund. There are two different forms of support:
- Project support that involves developing or further developing a working method, meeting place, and/or activity.
- Local support that involves making a renovation, extension, or new construction to start a new activity.
To receive money, the project must be aimed at at least one of the following target groups:
- Children 0-11 years.
- Youth 12-25 years.
- Elderly over 65 years.
- Persons with disabilities regardless of age.

Support for cultural venues
By September 30 each year, one can apply for support for certain non-state cultural venues. Decisions are made in February the following year. Cultural venues can receive support for new construction and renovation as well as for standard-enhancing repairs, accessibility measures, and energy measures. Support can also be given for the exchange or supplementation of inventory.

Investment grants for public gathering places
In order to create good meeting places, you can, by December 1 each year, apply for investment grants for public gathering places. Decisions are made in May the following year. Investment grants can be given for new construction, renovation, and purchase of public gathering places, as well as for standard-enhancing repairs, accessibility measures, and energy measures.

Operational development grants
By August 31 each year, you can apply for operational development grants for measures that will adapt a public gathering place to youth activities. It can also be given to stimulate youth activities in the cultural and leisure sector in such a venue. Decisions are made no later than December of the same year.

ICA Foundation
The mission of the ICA Foundation is to support projects, ideas, and organizations that make a lasting difference in society with a focus on health, well-being, diversity, inclusion, environment, and climate. Applicants can be non-profit associations or non-profit organizations that have been active for at least two years. On the ICA Foundation's website, you can check if your idea meets the foundation's criteria for applying for support.
The Swedish Board of Agriculture EIP
Innovations in agriculture, horticulture, and reindeer husbandry – European Innovation Partnership, EIP
Project support to develop a new product, a new method, or a new process that has significant importance for the agricultural and horticultural sector. The purpose of the support is to achieve increased competitiveness and sustainable production through innovation.

Support for meadows and pastures
Projects that carry out restoration measures in meadows and pastures with high natural values can receive support. The highest priority is physical measures and areas that contribute to good conditions for ten different habitat types in the Habitats and Species Directive.

Support for collaborations
Authorities, municipalities, companies, and other organizations can apply for support to collaborate and exchange experiences and knowledge in areas such as competitiveness, animal welfare, environment, climate, food, and tourism.

Support to apply for nature conservation
There is an opportunity to apply for support for local projects in nature conservation or water management. For example, through the Local Nature Conservation Initiative (LONA) and Local Water Management Projects (LOVA). There is also an opportunity to apply for support for the restoration of pastures and meadows as well as for fencing against predators.

Support to apply for agricultural entrepreneurs
You who are an agricultural entrepreneur can receive support to develop or invest in your business. The supports should, among other things, increase competitiveness and sustainability in Swedish agriculture and contribute to the goals of the Swedish food strategy. Municipalities, businesses, associations, and other organizations can receive support for various projects or investments that develop rural areas.

The joint foundation database of the County Administrative Boards includes all foundations registered in the foundation register of the County Administrative Boards. In it, you can search for foundations from which you can apply for scholarships or grants.

MCF - The Authority for Civil Defense
The Authority for Civil Defense allocates 33 million kronor annually to non-profit organizations for educational assignments, which aim to strengthen the knowledge of Sweden's inhabitants about individual safety and preparedness in the event of accidents, serious incidents, and crises, and increase the ability to manage the consequences of heightened preparedness and ultimately war.
MUCF - The Authority for Youth and Civil Society Issues
MUCF allocates state grants and EU grants to small and large activities and projects that benefit Sweden's youth and the Swedish civil society. On behalf of the government, MUCF allocates state grants in the form of organizational grants, project grants, and operational grants. MUCF is also the national program office for Erasmus+ Youth and the European Solidarity Corps, which is the EU's primary tool for implementing the common European youth policy.
The Authority for Youth and Civil Society Issues allocates grants to:
Children and youth organizations, ethnic organizations, women's organizations, and LGBTQ organizations
International youth cooperation through the EU program Erasmus+
Projects that deal with: democracy and influence issues, discrimination and equality, as well as racism and extremism

The Board for Handicraft Issues
The Board for Handicraft Issues also allocates state support for handicraft activities in the form of operational and organizational grants as well as annual project grants.
The project calls are aimed at associations, organizations, institutions, individual entrepreneurs, and practitioners of handicraft and craftsmanship who want to carry out projects aimed at reaching more people with handicraft, developing new working methods, exploring new ideas, and contributing to a diversity of handicraft.
RF-SISU Jämtland
RF-SISU Jämtland supports special sports district associations (SDF) and associations. There is among other things the possibility to apply for grants and support in the form of facility support, integration support, scholarships/funds, and financial support. Associations can also take part in general development funds for development work.
National Heritage Board
The National Heritage Board distributes various types of grants within the cultural heritage area. This includes research and development, grants to non-profit organizations within the cultural environment area, as well as grants for cultural heritage work.
Skandia - Ideas for Life
Do you have a good idea aimed at young people that promotes safety and health? Then you can apply for a scholarship from the foundation Ideas for Life. Skandia Ideas for Life contributes with support for example materials, information, marketing, and training of young leaders.
Savings Bank Foundation Jämtland
The Savings Bank Foundation Jämtland distributes funds each year to local projects within culture, sports, research, education, and business.

Foundation funds.se is a non-profit association that helps you find funding from foundations, municipalities, and county councils free of charge. The register used is the county administrative boards' public register stiftelser.lst.se with an improved search function.
Swedish Postcode Foundation
The Swedish Postcode Foundation allocates support to projects that promote positive social development or seek long-term solutions to global challenges. The Postcode Foundation receives and assesses project ideas continuously throughout the year. Applicants can be non-profit associations and public benefit foundations.

Neighborhood Initiative
The Neighborhood Initiative involves small and quick support for projects that contribute to vibrant, open, and accessible local communities. Non-profit associations and public benefit foundations have the opportunity to apply for between 20,000 and 50,000 kronor for local projects that for example contribute to community and increased well-being and health.

The Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth
The Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth works to promote the development of services in rural and countryside areas through a variety of funding opportunities.
