Project support for youth
Do you have a project idea that is based on what young people have for ideas and dreams about the places where they live?
Apply for funding for a project that supports young people's ideas!
Leader Grogrund wants to engage young people who are 25 years old or younger and create opportunities for them to drive projects based on their needs and interests. Do you have a project idea that engages young people from the start?
For those of you who work with young people in an association or other organization, it is possible to apply for funding to implement various project ideas where you collaborate with someone else who also benefits from the initiative.
Focus on young people – what does it mean?
Projects that are applied for with a focus on young people should involve young people from the very beginning.
Leader Grogrund wants to improve young people's relationship with the place they live in, strengthen the sense of being involved in the local community, and increase faith in the future. Therefore, the projects should aim to harness young people's creativity, give them the opportunity to lead their own activities, and develop their roles in local rural development.
An important part of the projects should be to make young people's engagement visible through various communication activities. By being able to follow young people's engagement in the communities, the images of who young people in rural areas are and what ideas and dreams they are passionate about are broadened. We believe this creates pride and attractiveness for rural areas as a whole!
