Improvement-
measures for Ope IF's arena Torvallen

About the project

Ope IF aims to broaden its activities to include more target groups than today. The place has long served as a meeting point in the community, but in order to accommodate more target groups, the facility needs to be adapted to today's requirements. Ope IF will become an association open to all, which it has a great opportunity to do as it is located near socially disadvantaged areas and can accommodate a large number of active participants and visitors for training, spontaneous sports, and events.

LAG board's justification

The LAG board chooses to prioritize the project. With a modern facility, the association can develop a sustainable overall concept where Torvallen's IP is a part. For example, by activating and inviting people from the socially disadvantaged areas in Torvalla. This strengthens social sustainability in the community. The sports venue will be open to everyone. It enables more inclusion and a vibrant meeting place where more target groups can be reached and meet.
