The project aims to highlight Åre's natural and cultural values, and thereby create dynamic natural and cultural environments, strengthen the attractiveness of the locality. This will be done through the following activities:
Feasibility study Åre Museum. This activity in the project aims to create a long-term sustainable platform and plan for the realization of a full-scale Åre museum.
Digitization of historical films and images. The project intends to acquire hardware for digitizing historical film reels and photographs that document Åre's unique tourism history.
Making historical walking and hiking paths accessible.
