The purpose of the project is to enhance the experience for guests and residents through an improved activity offering during the summer focused on families with children. The destination should also become a more attractive place to live and reside in, which is important as we see a great potential in getting people to move here. The goal is to generate more commercial guest nights, increased revenue in the destination, and ultimately more year-round job opportunities.

The project will create a more attractive and developed activity offering in the form of pump tracks for cycling, playgrounds, hiking tours adapted with missions/play environments for children, free activities will be offered during the summer, quality improvements at waterfalls, as well as a feasibility study that will serve as a basis for future development of the destination during the summer.

LAG chooses to prioritize this project, which is of strategically great importance to create further collaboration, additional quality of life in the area, and improve the opportunities for the business sector to create year-round jobs. The project is expected to lead to goals within the intervention area Passionate Entrepreneurship in collaboration and especially the goal of an attractive tourism industry.
