Swimming school
for everyone
About the project
The project Swimming school for everyone aims for all residents in Funäsdalen and surrounding areas to have the opportunity to become water-safe, learn to swim, save themselves and others. The project will increase accessibility and the opportunity to receive instruction through support for local rent, support for training swimming instructors, and purchasing swimming aids.
The goal of the project is for two people to receive training and be employed in the swimming school. More children should have had/will have the opportunity to attend swimming school, baby swimming will be offered continuously, and older people who have never learned to swim/are afraid of water will be offered the opportunity for group courses as well as courses in the swimming styles crawl, butterfly, and the type of backstroke and breaststroke used in competitive contexts. One should have learned to save themselves and others and be knowledgeable about swimming, boating, and ice safety. In the long term, the swimming school should be a solid operation with broad competence.
This is a PROJECT SUPPORT FOR COMPANIES which is a project form that receives a maximum of 70% and 200,000 SEK in support, as the benefit primarily accrues to the applicant company.
