About the project
The project is about investing in an evacuation route for bicycles in Persåsbacken. The purpose is to improve energy efficiency and secure the facility, and enable testing of cycling with mountain bikes and downhill. Water will be drained from the slope, leveled and hardened areas with sour holes and snowdrifts, and create a road that can be used as an evacuation route for ambulances. The project will be able to create a safer slope and enable more job opportunities.
This is a PROJECT SUPPORT FOR COMPANIES which is a project form that receives a maximum of 70% and 200,000 SEK in support, as the benefit primarily accrues to the applicant company or association.

LAG board's motivation:
LAG chooses to prioritize this project, which is expected to contribute to the Leader area's goals within intervention area 3 Attractive and dynamic nature and cultural environments. The project aims to utilize and build upon what already exists, and by developing activities and experiences, broaden the season and the chance for local job opportunities. In this way, Persåsen becomes attractive both in summer and winter.
