Åsarna Ski Academy – an environment for training combined with studies or work, is a startup of a ski academy in Åsarna for young people who want to focus on their skiing while also having the opportunity to work or study after high school. The project will also serve as a driver for new establishment and development of businesses and relocation.

LAG board's justification

”The LAG board chooses to prioritize this project, which is expected to lead to goals within intervention area 1 Passionate entrepreneurship in collaboration. The project has many benefits and is expected to benefit skiers, the business community in Åsarna and the surrounding area, and Bergs municipality as a whole, through studies, training, and jobs.”
