Expansion and reinforcement of summer trail in Ottsjö

The project aims to reduce soil wear and increase accessibility for a stretch on Högåsen in Ottsjö by laying bridges and building some stairs.

 That the visitor pressure is increasing in the area is encouraging, but we must also take responsibility for protecting natural values. Residents in Ottsjö are making significant investments in expanding the tourism industry in the area with renovations of the tourist station and trails, etc. With support from Leader, we can make it more attractive to visit, vacation, and live in Ottsjö during the summer while also securing valuable natural values for the future.
