In this project, the aim is to create a dynamic place on Åreskutan that works better than the current starting point for the paragliding club. But also for other visitors who want to take a trip on Åreskutan and enjoy the view. The goal is to establish a smooth and natural starting point that will replace the previous one, and to create a walking path.

LAG board's justification

 The LAG board chooses to prioritize this project, which is expected to lead to goals within intervention area 3, Attractive & Dynamic Nature & Cultural Environments. In this project, efforts are being made to make a location accessible up on a mountain, both on the ground with walking paths and in the air by enabling paragliding. for more target groups. Collaboration between the association and the business community in the project is expected to lead to service development and more job opportunities. Additionally, the intention is to make an environmental effort and restore nature, and to spread the knowledge gained in the project further to others who can benefit from this knowledge.
