Härjedalen municipality will, together with the local communities and local actors within civil society and business, develop local village development plans. The purpose is to create conditions for the continued development of an attractive community environment, good community services, increased entrepreneurship, and a strong association life. The long-term goals are increased employment, strengthened community services, and more residents.

LAG board's justification

LAG chooses to prioritize this project, which is expected to contribute to increased innovation by showcasing good examples and creative power. The project is granted within the framework of intervention area 4 Innovation/New technology/New solutions/Research because LAG wants to give that intervention area greater space and facilitate for more to be inspired by what others have achieved through Leader as a method and with innovation in focus.
