Dog daycare HUNDra percent

In this exciting project, many benefits are combined. The social work-integrated company Fristad receives support for the startup of a much-anticipated dog daycare in the Grönt Center area in Ås in Krokom municipality. The dog daycare will collaborate with the small animal education at Torsta nature management high school on the care and training of the dogs, while also creating jobs and work training placements for those seeking pathways into the labor market. The project also solves the problem for working dog owners about where the dog should be during the day.

LAG board's justification

LAG prioritizes this project as it is expected to improve the conditions for individuals who are far from the labor market by establishing a dog daycare, while also creating benefits for a number of stakeholders by solving the problem of the lack of dog daycare spots. There are few social work-integrated companies, and LAG wants to contribute to the development of those that exist. The project is expected to lead to the overarching goal of Exemplary inclusion of all in society.
