About the project
In the project, drawings for small eco-houses will be developed, which will be made publicly available for both individuals and small businesses. A display house will also be created as a prototype for various types of measurements (tightness, moisture, energy consumption, temperature, etc.). By sharing drawings and test results, other builders' permitting processes can become cheaper and easier. Building descriptions will be established, including drawings and cost estimates.
The purpose of the project is to teach how the average person and small businesses can build sustainable housing.
LAG board's justification
The board approves the project because it benefits local construction and the building trade in rural areas. More people can afford to build their house. Contributes to goals within focus area 4 Innovation/New technology/New solutions/Research.
