About the project

The purpose of the project is to create a platform for collaboration, develop cultural services, and form a brokerage function to present what one offers and reach out to new customers. This should lead to increased employment and livelihood for artists and craftsmen.

The project has been preceded by a feasibility study funded by Region Jämtland Härjedalen, and thereafter the project was part of Cultural Rural Areas (2021), a project run by Leader Lake, Forest & Mountain. Lärko is about artists in Jämtland and Härjedalen opening their doors and sharing their experience and knowledge. In personal meetings, the customer gets to develop their creativity based on their wishes.
