This is a project support to companies that is given to two collaborating companies in Nysätern a few miles outside Hede. Together, they are investing in developing the premises to be able to focus on high-quality service with a clear basis in local raw materials. The project is expected to lead to a larger share of locally produced food that is also consumed locally. Other positive effects are new jobs in the collaborating companies but also with primary producers and food artisans in the local area.

This is a PROJECT SUPPORT FOR COMPANIES which is a project form that receives a maximum of 70% and 200,000 SEK in support, as the benefit primarily accrues to the applicant company.

LAG board's justification

LAG chooses to prioritize this project which is expected to contribute to the Leader area's goals within intervention area 1 Passionate Entrepreneurship in collaboration. They will work closely with local producers who use raw materials from forest and land in a sustainable way. Collaboration can lead to more local processing and new products. The project is cost-effective, a relatively small investment in money is expected to have a large effect locally.
