In this sub-activity, the individuals who run the community garden want to develop and test different ways to improve the soil in a more ecologically sustainable way by creating a more closed loop. The goal is to learn more about the conditions for cycle-based cultivation with inspiration primarily from rural areas in the northern part of Sweden and to create long-term collaborations to jointly spread that knowledge in the region.

LAG board's justification

We grant support for this long-term ecologically, socially, and economically sustainable activity where the applicants want to increase knowledge about cultivation, soil improvement, and the food's journey from soil to table. It is positive that the initiative has a city-country collaboration and that new meeting places are being formed.
