The project is about mobilizing actors to perform some scenes from Husåspelet in the summer of 2018 in connection with event days during the midsummer weekend. The idea is that this project should be able to market and mobilize further for a larger investment in 2019. The idea includes mobilization of people, script adaptation, development of marketing materials, rehearsals, and performance at one occasion.

LAG board's justification

This Start Assistance is about finding a new way to work with cultural history through Husåspelet, and creating a new marketable product in the community. Additionally, a meeting place is created for residents, businesses, and associations that can create ripple effects in other ways. The project increases sustainability in the community by seeking a way to work economically sustainably with a recurring event, and also working on the script and performance to increase inclusion and the way to tell the story for today's new target groups.
