Summary:
In this sub-activity, the aim is to conduct a feasibility study for a completely new concept idea that is sustainable, innovative, inclusive, and exclusive in its kind. In the feasibility study, they will, among other things, work on developing an activity plan for the creation of a prototype.

”Lake & Snow floating concept” is a new form of accommodation and experiences in the tourism and experience industry that is movable, mobile, and usable year-round. A sleek concept on water, ice, and snow for all seasons in the mountains, forest, and lake. The hope is that it will become a new niche within nature tourism that is sustainable in several ways.

LAG board's justification

This is an innovative idea that requires a certain product and prototype development. It thus fits well for Small Support Feasibility Study ”New solutions”. In the long run, this could become an interesting and flexible way to create small-scale accommodations on water, complementing the existing infrastructure, and developing the smaller harbors and boat clubs around Storsjö.
