About the project
The project enables the establishment of a business with summer entrepreneurs in Åre municipality during 2018-2020, to then become a permanent operation.
In the project, young people will have the opportunity to train in entrepreneurship and run a business during the summer, as an alternative to a public summer job. In the project, there will be a week-long camp with inspiration and education. Then, the youth will have the opportunity to practically work with their entrepreneurship for at least three weeks. The ambition is that they can then continue to run their business.
The goal is that more young people, who receive training and inspiration early on, see entrepreneurship as a possible path to livelihood and take responsibility for their future. In the project, we want to demonstrate the opportunities to operate and live in our countryside.
LAG board's justification
LAG prioritizes this project, which has good potential to create jobs for young people in their own entrepreneurship, contributing to vibrant local communities with enterprising youth.
