The project involves expanding Ottsjöns community center by 35 sqm from the current 190 sqm, as well as building a new and modern, food-approved kitchen. This is intended to develop the operations with more permanent activities and better opportunities to prepare and serve food to a larger number of guests. The goal is to create an attractive meeting place in the countryside, where everyone is welcome.

LAG board's justification

The LAG board chooses to prioritize this project, which is expected to contribute to goals in the intervention area
2 Vibrant local communities for all. The project aims to develop the meeting place that the community center
already constitutes today, and which now has the conditions to be enriched with more and better activities and
events. Extra positive with the generational shift in the board and that a younger generation takes over in
the development of the community center.
