Winners in the long run

The project Winners in Length aims to establish and anchor a sustainable length product that strengthens Destination Vemdalen. The project develops the conditions for an independent track company and includes, among other things, dialogues and agreements with landowners, municipalities, and businesses as well as the development of a payment model.

The project is carried out with support from Leader Grogrund and starts in August 2025. The long-term goal is that everyone who lives, works, and visits the destination should have access to well-maintained length tracks that enhance the entire area's attractiveness.

LAG board's justification

”The LAG board prioritizes the project with the justification; The LAG board approves the project as it aims to create a long-term sustainable organization for length tracks in Vemdalen and parts of Bergs municipality through local anchoring, business development, and collaboration. The project is assessed to promote both rural development and business opportunities for local residents and businesses.”
