Before your application
Always start by contacting us at the development office. The application is made in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's system, but we will help you get started and will be your sounding board throughout the process.
Before the application occasion, you need to have prepared all documentation, and to ensure that you do not miss anything, you can use these tips for assistance.

budget – important to know
You need to prepare a well-developed budget
The application must be supplemented with a well-developed budget. A budget that is linked to your activity plan. (Templates for download can be found a little further down this page.)
Please note that during implementation, you CANNOT incur other costs than those included in the approved budget.
Things to consider regarding VAT: Is the association/company/organization liable for VAT reporting or not? If you choose to include costs including VAT in your budget, you cannot deduct the VAT from the Tax Agency.
In your budget, you choose to apply for funding including or excluding VAT. When applying for payment, it is important to choose the same.

power of attorney
Decide who will represent the association/company/organization and apply for power of attorney in good time.
Those who will write the actual application in the e-system must first have submitted a power of attorney and had it approved by the Swedish Board of Agriculture.
Remember to check all boxes:
When the power of attorney is approved, the name of the association/company/organization will appear when you log in to My Pages and select ”a customer, my company, or another.” It is not possible to apply as a private individual.
Attachments to include with your application
Budget template including any quotes and price information (mandatory)
Notification of account number
Certificate of used equipment and materials
Calculation of hourly wage cost
Documents that verify the signatory
Permit documents
Lease agreement
How is your application assessed?
When the development office considers that your application is complete, it can proceed to the LAG board.
The application is scored based on given assessment criteria. If the LAG board chooses to prioritize the application, they will determine the support level and support amount and explain why. An application can also be rejected or returned. A decision by the LAG board cannot be appealed.
However, it is the Swedish Board of Agriculture that makes the formal and final decision.
