About the project
The purpose of the project is to increase accessibility to nature and outdoor life in a safe and secure way, for everyone in Sonfjällsbygden year-round.
When the project is completed, there will be an outdoor bridge over Ljusnan that connects the village and can be used by the general public year-round. Through collaboration with the various partners of the applicants and their needs, the nearby area has been adapted to create opportunities to carry out different activities and events in the village.
LAG board's justification
”The project is prioritized by the LAG board with the justification that it is a well-prepared application that has been preceded by broad collaboration. The establishment of the bridge creates added value for the village beyond the physical investment as the bridge creates opportunities for cooperation between the village's associations and contributes to an attractive village.”
