Can we support your idea?

We nurture good ideas through money, coaching, knowledge, and good networks.

You know best how your place can develop. At Leader Grogrund, businesses, associations, and organizations can apply for funding for rural development! We nurture good ideas through coaching, money, knowledge, and good networks. Together we create a sustainable and attractive countryside that we are proud of. Do you have ideas that develop places in Bergs, Härjedalen, Krokom, Åre, or Östersund municipalities?

This is how it works

Get started

Can leader support fit your idea? What basic requirements exist, what themes and types of support are available for application? Test your idea and then discuss it with us by submitting an expression of interest.

Write application

Once you have received feedback on your idea from us and you have an approved power of attorney, it is time to make an application to the Swedish Board of Agriculture. When the application is complete and assessable, the LAG board will make a decision.

Implement

Before the project starts, we want to have a joint kickoff meeting where we go through what you need to consider. Requirements for separate reporting, use of logo, interim reports, etc.

Final reporting

When the project is completed, but well in advance of the end date, you should apply for final payment. In the final report, you will describe what you have done and answer questions about goals and results, among other things.

What can you apply for funding for?

We have four themes that will be prioritized 2023–2027:

  • Strengthen local entrepreneurship
  • Mobilization and new functions
  • Develop the local resource
  • Develop ideas and idea bearers
